Accommodation
The rooms in the hall
Our dormitory consists of 45 single rooms and 4 double rooms (with two beds each).
All our rooms have water supply, central heating and are accommodated with furniture (desk, bed, chair, closet).
Wifi internet is available for € 2,- per month.
Common rooms for our residents:
On every floor there is a fully-equipped kitchen at the students disposal.
During the term (not during the spring or summer break) we offer breakfast for our students.
Between 7.00 and 11.00 a.m., fresh bread and rolls are available in our breakfast room.
In addition there are daily issues of morning newspapers available (Frankfurter Allgemeine, Frankfurter Rundschau, Süddeutsche, Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung).
Playing an instrument is possible in the residence hall's music room, which offers a piano. In the same room one finds our small library with its focus on theology, medicine and psychology. The latter rooms serve as common rooms for the students.
The bar room has beverages at the ready, where there also is access to a TV. On a regular basis we have bar events in the evening.
And last but not least, the hall has its own tabletop football arena next to the bar room.

The Evangelisches Studentenwohnheim is located in Neuenheim, a neighbourhood of Heidelberg north of the river Neckar.
Bergstraße 53 can be found at the corner of Bergstraße and Gabelsberger Straße.
It is a residential area close to the centre and university.
It takes 15 minutes by bike to get to the train station and 10 minutes to reach university facilities in the city centre or the Neuenheimer Feld.
The Pädagogische Hochschule (Alte PH) is even closer (5 minutes walking distance).
Public transportation is just around the corner at Kußmaulstraße (tram lines 23 to Handschuhsheim or Rohbach-Süd/ Leimen and 5 which circles between Heidelberg, Mannheim, Viernheim and Weinheim in both directions).
The bus to the city centre and the Neuenheimer Feld (line 31) stops at Lutherstraße (3 minutes walk).
